Thank you for pointing that out to those who think 2012 is the doom date. I know they have a calender that doesn’t end until the 4000 yr mark, which makes 2012 an unlikely date for the “end of days”. I’m sure around the yr 4000 people will be thinking the end is here… again.

The mayans didn’t actually predict that 2012 would be the end of the world. it was just the end of their calendar. Western civilisation pinned the doomsday theory on it.
