Custom Made Puzzle - Rubik’s Fortress Cube (Eastsheen 5×5x5 + 8 2×2x2 Keychains)
My custom-made 5×5x5 with 8 corners 2×2x2. It’s the first custom 5×5x5 + 2×2x2 cube I’ve seen on the web, so I think mine is the first, and I decided to name it Fortress Cube due to its shape. I discovered that the size of pieces is the same, so I had the idea to do this custom puzzle. It took me a lot of time! Sorry, it’s not for sale now. I though of doing that same exact thing only with a normal cube and 8 mini Dianshengs!

all he did was get a 5×5 take the corners out and glue 2×2 on the corners -.-
If he just glued the 2×2s in the second layer wouldn’t turn from the first

I didn’t just take off corners and glue the keychains. I took off 5×5 corners and took off their external parts, so
they can be directly glued on 2×2 keychains as their old
pieces. The 2×2 became extensions of the 5×5 corners.
I glued them before placing the edges back to 5×5, so it was terrible to screw all faces of the 5×5. If you’re planning to do it by yourself, try to modify 5×5 corners, put back to 5×5, and then glue the 2×2s, it’s a lot better and faster!
