YES! Another INCREDIBLE Posting, Featuring.. Primarily B&W Photos in this Portfolio. These are some of the Best Candids ‘Assigned’ for Public Release! The ROLLING STONES..w/A Cut off ‘The STOP SIGN Album(”Through The PAST, DARKLY”). ALL of The Excellence, however,We as a Public Have Limited to “Precious Few” Studio Candids! Nickey Hopkins, was the Pianeast on this Cut,w/BRIAN J. Doing some Mellotron & rear Re-Dubbed Recorder Work. There MUST Be MORE “STUDIO-PROOFS” Somewhere?! Eh!
Bill Wyman in fact, looked in those days even durtier than Richards, untill Keith caught up with him. They went each the opposite way,Wyman got a more or less babyfaced./
Brian played recorder, which really benefits this song. B.B and the White Album were the two very first F.M staples to do away with the 2 minute pop song.
One of my favorite gems from Beggars Banquet. The subtle complexity of this song is intriguing; Bill’s thumping bass-line, along with Nicky Hopkins banging away on piano lend a special nuance to this one. “Jigsaw Puzzle” also has a definite Dylan flavor, as did other songs from the album.
Excellent slideshow on an excellent song !
…and the guitar player looks damaged…
I’m lovin it!
